Every November, the top women's curling teams from across Canada make the journey to Abbotsford to compete for $60,000 in prize money at the Wayden Transportation Ladies Classic Grand Slam. Past participants include 2007 World Champions Kelly Scott, 2008 Canadian Champions Jennifer Jones, and 2006 Olympic Bronze Medalist Shannon Kleibrink.
Important Information for 2009
The Wayden Transportation Ladies Classic Committee has made the decision to take a one year hiatus from this event with full intentions of returning in 2010. The 2010 Wayden Transportation Ladies Classic Grand Slam will run from November 18 to 21, 2010. We would like to thank all of our generous sponsors, teams, volunteers and fans for their continued support of this event. We wish all teams good luck at the Olympic Pre-Trials in Prince George, Olympic Trials in Edmonton and finally the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. See you in November 2010!
